Our goal at fanaticmasks.comTM is to provide a Lucha Libre or
Mexican Wrestling mask that is comfortable, lightweight, durable,
affordable, and unique in design. We feel, after 3 years of
development, that we’ve done just that. To many it might be just a
mask. To us it’s a lifestyle.
The original Lucha Libre masks were made to fit the wrestler who wore
it in and out of the professional wrestling ring. It was not his alter ego, it
was his identity.
The wrestling masks that were sold, then and still to this day, range in
price from $10 -$250. Most don’t fit and are too uncomfortable to wear
for more than a few minutes. The materials used are usually cheap and
have no performing qualities other than their color. There are few who
make a mask with as much care and integrity as we do.
The material we use is made from three blends of Nylon and SpandexTM
often referred to as SpanduraTM. It stretches in four directions making it
more likely to fit even the largest of craniums. It’s designed to wick the
sweat away making it more comfortable in hot, performance situations.
It’s extremely soft and feels good against your skin. Every mask is stain
resistant and machine washable.
Our material is made in Greensboro North Carolina by Elastic Fabrics
of America (EFA), the same company that designs and manufactures
UnderarmorTM and other high quality, high performance materials.
Every mask is stitched together in Asheboro North Carolina making it a
completely MADE IN NORTH CAROLINA product.
The retail price is $35.00 per mask and the wholesale price is $17.50
per mask.
